New Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Big Couples that attend a virtual group or 1-on-1 info session before the end of April 2021 will gain access to exclusive opportunities from the NFL Inspire Change Foundation and the Kansas City Chiefs.

“When we draft a Big, it’s not just their life that is changed forever, but the life of their Little, too,” said Micheal Lawrence, CEO of BBBSKC. “We’re ready and excited to recruit the next class of life-changing mentors. You’ve got what it takes, and we want you on our team.”

In Kansas City, hundreds of local kids — called ‘Little Brothers’ or ‘Little Sisters’ — are waiting to be paired with a mentor — called ‘Big Brothers’ or ‘Big Sisters.’

Last year’s Big Draft campaign recruited 468 new Bigs, making it the most successful recruitment campaign in BBBSKC history! With over 200 Littles on the waiting list, the need for new Bigs is still as urgent as ever.

HOW IT WORKS

Starting today, BBBSKC is launching a comprehensive effort to recruit new Bigs. In April, BBBSKC will celebrate the new Big Draft class with an incredible grand prize drawing.

Individuals have two opportunities to earn a spot in the drawing:

• Become a Big: Anyone that attends a virtual group or 1-on-1 info session before the end of April 2021 will receive a Big Draft t-shirt and be entered to win Chiefs season tickets for two (lower level, 50-yard line) for the 2021 season!
• Draft new Bigs: Anyone that drafts a friend to become a Big that attends a virtual group or 1-on-1 info session before the end of April 2021 will be entered to win Chiefs season tickets for two (lower level, 50-yard line) for the 2021 season!
